Overlake Alumnae Panhellenic ScholarshipThe Information Forum will be Wednesday, February 29, 2012at 7:00 p.m. at the Redmond Regional LibraryFind out everything you ever wanted to know about sorority life! High school girls of all grade levels and parents are encouraged to attend. The library is located at 15990 NE 85th St., Redmond, WA 98052
The program will feature sorority members from the University of Washington talking about the membership recruitment process, sorority living, and Greek Weekend. Alumnae from other colleges will discuss sorority life at their campuses, as well as the lifelong benefits of sorority membership. Also, a House Director (a live-in administrator who handles staff and house issues for a sorority) will be available to give information to parents about sorority housing. There will be a question and answer period, giving participants an excellent opportunity to learn about sorority life in an informal setting. 2012 Scholarship Application Form Each year, the organization presents scholarships to qualified high school senior girls who plan to attend four-year colleges or universities with National Panhellenic Conference sororities. Although the scholarship winners are encouraged to consider sorority membership, the scholarships will be granted to those selected, whether or not they ultimately join a sorority. Applications and details about the scholarship program are also available from high school counselors. This year's application deadline is April 2, 2012.
